Fireman's Fund Senior Leadership 
Meet the Fireman's Fund senior leadership team. This group is responsible for running the day to day operations of the company.


Michael LaRocco
President and CEO

LaRocco has been president and CEO of Fireman's Fund since March 2008. He has nearly 30 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry. LaRocco most recently served as president and chief operating officer of Seattle-based Safeco. Prior to Safeco, he held various leadership and management roles at Geico Corporation, including running Geico's Northeast region, as well as with Superior Insurance and Progressive Corporation.



Jill Paterson
Chief Financial Officer

Paterson oversees the direction and performance of the Controller's Office, Treasury Department, Financial Services, Supply Management and the company's compliance under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002. Paterson joined Fireman's Fund as senior VP and controller. Prior to joining Fireman's Fund, she had a 14-year career at Allianz Canada, where she was promoted through the ranks in Finance, rising to the post of senior VP and CFO. She is a Chartered Accountant from Canada and a CPA.



Eleanor Barnard
Chief Distribution, Sales & Marketing Officer

Barnard has extensive distribution, sales and marketing experience in the property and casualty industry. She most recently served as chief marketing officer and head of distribution for Zurich North America. Her background also includes senior positions at Safeco, where she was senior vice president for sales and distribution, and at CNA, where she was senior vice president of sales and marketing. Barnard also has hands-on brokerage experience as president of Hilb, Rogal and Hamilton Company's New Jersey operation.



Lori Fouche
President of Commercial Insurance
Fouche is responsible for the business unit that provides differentiated products and services for commercial businesses with specialized product needs. She joined Fireman's Fund in 2006 as the head of marketing for Specialty lines. Most recently she was Specialty's chief operating officer. She previously held a variety of leadership positions at Chubb & Son and was a management consultant at The Parthenon Group.



Sally Narey
Chief Counsel & Corporate Secretary
Narey is responsible for our corporate legal governance, legal and regulatory insurance issues, and corporate litigation. She formerly led a team of 225 professionals as general counsel for USAA's property and casualty group. She has also held senior legal positions with CNA and the National Council on Compensation Insurance.



Roger Nulton
President of Agribusiness

Nulton leads the highly profitable Fireman's Fund Agribusiness unit that provides crop insurance to large agricultural entities. He joined Fireman's Fund in 1997 and has served in several key management roles, including chief operating officer and regional executive for the Commercial Business, field executive for the Personal Insurance segment, and most recently, president of Commercial Business. Nulton previously held various leadership roles in claims, underwriting, small business, marketing and human resources at Northbrook Property and Casualty Insurance and St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance.



Darryl Page
President of Personal Insurance

Page is focused on growing our Personal lines and creating a superior customer experience. Prior to joining Fireman's Fund, Page worked for Allstate Insurance Company, where he served in a variety of roles including underwriting, sales and operations. He has considerable experience working directly with independent agents in regions throughout the United States. Page's most recent role at Allstate was vice president of the western market operating committee as well as Chairman of Allstate Canada.



James Pedersen
Chief Information and Operations Officer
Pedersen is responsible for leading company-wide efforts to improve customer satisfaction and customer service operations, along with the company's Information Technology group. Pedersen joined Fireman's Fund in 2003 and has served as chief underwriting officer and chief operating officer for the Personal Insurance business. Prior to joining Fireman's Fund Pedersen held several senior leadership positions with Allstate Insurance Company.


Paul Stachura
Chief Claims and Risk Services Officer
Stachura is responsible for providing outstanding pre-loss risk management services and post-loss claims handling. He came to Fireman's Fund from Chubb and Son, Inc. where he was senior vice president of International Claims. Stachura has served in progressively responsible leadership positions in both the United States and overseas, in key claims roles for various independent and mutual companies.



Gregory Tacchetti
Chief Administrative Officer

Tacchetti oversees several of the company's critical functions, including web services, management information, communications, enterprise project management office, real estate, and compliance. He also leads our efforts on key Allianz initiatives such as Customer Focus, Expense Management, Innovation, and Sustainability. Tacchetti most recently was Safeco's senior financial officer within the company's P&C Insurance Operations. At Safeco, Tacchetti also led Personal Lines Underwriting, Field Planning, and Personal Lines Finance.
