Human Needs
Self-help programs that assist the elderly, the mentally ill and developmentally challenged to achieve greater independence and a higher quality of life. Grants are also awarded to projects for children, the homeless and low-income families. In addition, we support prevention, education and rehabilitation programs to combat various forms of abuse.
Education
Projects which provide access to educational development opportunities for all segments of society. The programs we fund enhance knowledge and understanding with an emphasis on academic improvement, support of families and communities and diversity and tolerance. Funding for the public sector is based upon the wide application and broad impact of the program.
Special consideration will be given to:
Organizations that have broad support from the community and a proven track record in the areas of management, client services and volunteer support.
Organizations that can demonstrate how they will achieve sustainable, positive changes for target populations.
Projects that meet community needs and target a wide audience.
Projects that have a demonstrated impact in the community.

Corporate Sponsorship
Additional dollars are set aside for sponsoring events that have a positive impact on our brand through our Corporate Sponsorship program. Events include those connected to agencies raising funds for the arts, education, human needs, health and the environment. Requests are reviewed by a corporate sponsorship committee on an as-needed basis. Contact Danielle Cagan (415.899.2000 or danielle.cagan@ffic.com ) for more information.
