On average, 100 firefighters die in the line of duty each year.

To reduce these fatalities, the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation (NFFF) unveiled the "Everyone Goes Home" campaign,a national program of 16 firefighter life safety initiatives. 

"Everyone Goes Home" is funded in part by the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. Fireman’s Fund provided $329,000 in matching funds for the program and supports the NFFF in its efforts.
