As 2006 comes to a close, we’d like to look back at what the Fireman’s Fund
Heritage program accomplished this year, as well as give some hints
about what’s upcoming in 2007.
Katrina didn't just uproot individuals. It also devastated the
infrastructure of an entire region, and will affect vital services in the
area for years to come. Fireman's Fund believes it's critical to remember
local fire departments and provide them the tools they need to move
forward.
This month we profile Chief Ronald Siarnicki, Executive Director of the
National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. A member of the Fireman's Fund
Heritage Advisory Committee, his insights and experience help guide our
programs to support the fire service, while keeping us in tune with current
and future firefighter needs and challenges.
