Temporary Suspension of Non-Renewals and Cancellations due to Illinois Storms
Fireman’s Fund extends its sympathies to all who were impacted by the severe storms occurring on November 17th, 2013.
As a result of these storms, the Illinois Department of Insurance has asked insurance companies to suspend the cancellation and non-renewal of Personal and Commercial Insurance policies in disaster-affected counties in Illinois. Fireman’s Fund is complying with this request and has implemented a temporary suspension of all cancellations and non-renewals in affected counties.
This suspension pertains to the following counties and will extend 62 days from November 10th, 2013:
Champaign, Douglas, Fayette, Grundy, Jasper, LaSalle, Massac, Pope, Tazewell, Wabash, Vermilion, Washington, Wayne, Will, and Woodford
This suspension ends January 11th, 2014.
