Every DVD and movie collectible sold generates funds for fire departments and the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation for needed equipment such as thermal imaging cameras.

Individual fire departments and fire safety organizations are also encouraged to use "Into the Fire" to raise funds and host screenings at their station, community center, or local theater to build community awareness. Fireman's Fund will provide DVDs at a discount rate and provide a sample incident action plan using the Incident Command System to help departments organize a screening.
